My Story
I'm taking part in this years Samarathon to support vital fundraising for Samaritans and help them continue with their aim of reducing the number of deaths by suicide each year.
I'm planning to walk the 26.2 miles on Mon 25th July and would appreciate any donations or words of support you are able to give. Fundraising is vital for Samaritans so even a small donation can make a huge difference.
I've included some information about Samaritans below. Thank you for taking t(e time to read my request
Every ten seconds, Samaritans answer a call for help. We are here, day or night, for anyone who is struggling to cope, who needs someone to listen without judgment or pressure. Samaritans is not only for the moment of crisis we are taking action to prevent the crisis. We give people ways to cope and the skills to be there for others.
Every life lost to suicide is a tragedy, and Samaritans' vision is that fewer people die by suicide. That is why we work tirelessly to reach more people and make suicide prevention a priority.
